Central Battery Systems in Jordan

When the power goes, people still need to find their way out. A central battery system keeps the emergency lights and exit signs on from one cabinet, instead of hundreds of small batteries hidden inside the light fittings.

Why one system

One cabinet to check, not hundreds of fittings

Small batteries inside each light fitting fail quietly, and someone has to test every one of them. A central system keeps the batteries, charger and monitoring in one place, so you test and maintain one cabinet and see straight away if a circuit has a problem.

CET scope of work
UPS or central battery?

A computer UPS is not built for emergency lighting

A standard UPS is made to keep computers running. Emergency lighting needs a system made for it: one that watches every lighting circuit, runs its own tests and is meant to stay connected to safety equipment for years.

How it works

From mains to a lit exit

01

Normal Supply

The normal source feeds the emergency-lighting circuits while the central charger keeps the battery bank correctly charged.

02

Failure Detection

The system detects a failure or unacceptable condition in the normal power supply.

03

Emergency Operation

The central battery automatically powers connected luminaires and safety circuits for the specified autonomy period.

04

Monitoring & Testing

The system supervises itself, monitors outgoing circuits, runs scheduled tests and records faults.
